Gemini · to PDF
Convert Gemini to PDF
Copy an answer out of Gemini, paste it here, and download a typeset PDF. No extension to install, no watermark on the output, no daily cap. The text is rendered in your browser and never uploaded.
How it works
Turn a Gemini answer into a PDF
Copy the answer
In Gemini, use the copy icon under the response, or select the text and copy it. You get the raw Markdown underneath: headings, tables, and lists included.
Paste it here
Drop it into the source pane on the left. The proof on the right typesets as you paste, tables and all, and leftover UI text gets trimmed for you.
Save as PDF
Press Download PDF and choose "Save as PDF" in the print dialog. That is the finished document, no signup and no watermark.
Other ways to do it
When another route makes more sense
topdf.md is the quick path for a single answer. Google also ships a few ways to get a PDF out of Gemini directly, and depending on what you need, one of those might be a better fit. Here is the honest rundown.
Export to Google Docs
Gemini can export a response straight to Google Docs, which keeps headings and formatting mostly intact. From there, File then Download then PDF gives you a document, though it inherits Docs' default styling rather than a typeset look.
A whole conversation
To capture an entire back-and-forth rather than one answer, open it in Gemini and use your browser's print (Cmd or Ctrl+P), then "Save as PDF". You get every turn, in the chat interface's own look rather than a typeset page.
A browser extension
An extension that adds a save-as-PDF button inside Gemini is worth it if you export constantly and want it one click away. Free ones commonly cap you at a few exports a day or stamp a watermark on the output. If that trade works for you, it's a reasonable option.
Questions
Is converting Gemini to PDF free?
Yes. No signup, no watermark, and no daily limit on how many you save. The converter is free, and the paid extras planned later (custom themes, a document API) do not touch it.
Do I need a browser extension?
No. topdf.md is a web page, so you paste the answer and save the PDF right here. Nothing to install, and nothing bolted onto Gemini itself.
Is my Gemini conversation uploaded anywhere?
No. The answer you paste is rendered and turned into a PDF entirely in your browser. It is never sent to a server, stored, or logged. Close the tab and it is gone.
Does the formatting survive, tables included?
Yes. Headings, tables, lists, and fenced code blocks with syntax highlighting all come through, because Gemini writes GitHub-flavored Markdown and that is exactly what this renders.
